Behind the Sermon

The most controversial and argued about passage in the Bible is Genesis 1, and the logic for arguing about it goes something like this: the Bible says the world was created in 7 days and is ___ years old, science disagrees with facts to back it up, therefore the Bible must not be true. The problem here is that we're missing the forrest for the trees by arguing about the Bible that misses the reality that it's not trying to tell us how many days the world was created in or how old the world is.
