The American Church is dying.
It's a non-negotiable fact.
Faith, however, is not.
How can people trust the God, but not His people?
How can people still believe in Resurrection, but have no desire to gather with those who claim to live by it?
How can people trust, even yearn, for the message of Christ, but not the people who say they love him?
These things should make no sense. Unless they do.
Why?
Because Christ offered joy,
but the church offers judgement.
Christ offered healing, but the church offers hurt.
Christ spent his time with people who needed help, but the church fails to offer any sort of help.
The church isn't dying because culture is too dark, but because the Light in church sanctuaries has dimmed
The church isn't dying because people have turned away from God, but because they cannot find Him the places that bear His name.
New Story Church is a family of people who are unashamed in their love and pursuit of the Christian God, but have lived the above statements.

What To Expect
A typical service will last about 55 minutes.
We have contemporary music often girded by some of the most ancient practices of the faith that have been around for nearly two thousand years.
We aren't low church. We aren't high church. We're just us.
You can wear what you want (just wear something!), you can read from whatever translation of the Bible you want (we lean toward the CEB or the NRSV, but we're good with whatever).
And don't be afraid if we start talking about...hot button issues.
We love them. We hope you join in on the conversation.
